Chunky Y2K “BRAT” Necklace - ‘00s Rhinestone Studded Block Nameplate

What a time for this true Y2K necklace to resurface. It’s like she heard us all having a BRAT summer.

These chunky rhinestone pavé nameplates were huge in the early 2000s McBling era. Now with the Y2K fashion revival, cheap, lightweight replicas are over-saturating the market and drowning out the true vintage pieces.

The structural integrity of this piece indicates it is one of the originals. The rhinestones, while aged, remain steadfastly secured and the thick. heavy-weight metal base is unlike modern lightweight plastic-core jewelry.

She’s the real deal and it shows. She’s BRAT.

The authentic vintage patina offers aged grunge character. The hoop which the clasp holds onto may soon need replacing (see photo).
